There is a lot more friends - new and old - I met since I came to Canada. With them, my life is more interesting and exciting ... To name just a few:

• Asen and Renny Atchkovi with their daughter Assia (1997, met Yuri and Assen in the Bulgarian Church)

• Boytcho, Albena and Joanna (2001, friends of Dobri and Aglika)

• Dobri and Aglika Angelovi and their son Dimo (1994, Dobri is a friend of two of my best friends from the student years) 

• Dobromir and Darina Gaydarovi (1999, Artur Kordon gave my address to them when they decided to immigrate to Canada)

• Georgi and Mariana Valchevi and their son Chrissy (Georgi is 'brother in arms' from the military service in 1987, later we studied together for 5 years in the Technical University Sofia)

• Galin and Virginia Mamarovi (2001, relatives of Sonia, member of the Atronomical Club in Dobrich in late 1980s)

• Georgi and Pepi Markovi and my little friends Dimitar and Nadia (studied with Georgi for 5 years in the Technical University Sofia)

• George Mangov (1980s, a neighbour from Dobrich, Bulgaria, and my host when I arrived in Canada)

• Ivo Detelinov and Preslava Yalamova (1997, Assia Stoyanov - co-student from the Technical University - introduced us)

• Iordan and Nassy Novakovi (1996, Nassy was studying in McGill University in Montreal with Dessi Velkova)

• Ivan and Toni Blagoevi (1996, Sotir inroduced us as there was something to fix on their computer)

• Ivan Popov (1998, studied together with Dessi Velkova in the University of Economics, Sofia)

• Ivana Gotzeva (1996, studied together with Dessi and Nassi in McGill University, Montreal; now lives in Bulgaria)

• Martin and Iva Radikovi with my little friend Kaloyan and their little son Alexander (1997, Galia and Vesko helped them settle in the same building I was alreay living in)

• Milen and Maya Kovatchevi (1999, I met Maya on Internet, but apparently they new Niki and Albena Stoilovi)

• Mitko and Borislava Ivakimovi (1999, Mitko studied with Dessi Velkova in the University of Economics in Sofia, Bulgaria)

• Mitko and Violeta Tashevi (1995, met in the plane immigrating to Canada on Sept 25, 1995)

• Niki Nedkov and Maya Daneva (in the beginning of 1997 Maya was the second Bulgarian who started working at Clearnet, the  first company I worked for in Canada)

• Niki and Albena Stoilovi and their daughter Snejana (1997, they found somehow my info on the immigration on Internet)

• Sava and Poli Stoyanovi and my little friend Goshko (1989-90, Sava is a classmate of Genadi Lazarov)

• Sotir and Lyubka and their children  Nasko and Dori (1996, met Sotir on a party thrown by a bulgarian in Toronto; now they live in Bulgaria)

• Stefan Marinov (1998, Hristo Zagorsky - close friend from the student years - gave my email to Stefan when he was immigrating to Canada)

• Svetlana Koleva (Nickolay Kolev's sister)

• Pavlik and Maria Pravchevi (1995, close friends of Artur Kordon, a long time friend who I met in 1980 in Varna Astronomical Observatory)

• Peter and Tzveta Todorovi (2001, friends of Dobri and Aglika)

• Svetozar and his sister Tatyana (1998)

• Vesko and Galia Vasilevi (1996, friends of Kiril and Vera, the first to 'fund' the Bulgarian 'colony' on 165 Barrington Avenue in Toronto)

• Vlado and Krasimira Dragievi (1998, Yuri has been working with Vlado at a laboratory in the Technical University, Sofia)

• Vlado and Violeta Dimitrovi and my little friend Niki ( 2001, Vlado is a classmate of my sister Tzonka from the high school in Dobrich)

• Yuri Stoyanov (1997, we met in the Bulgarian church celabrating the Bulgarian Nartional Day, March 3 1997)

• student Group 99 ... we were amazing, we were the top - knowledgeable, rebelious and of course - funny, brought together by our interest in computer science

• After a year and a half in Canada, I was back for my first vacation in Bulgaria, summer of 1997
